Is it true that the Prophet ﷺ is made of Noor? And that he did not have a shadow?

The Prophet ﷺ was made of flesh and bones just like any other human being and he ﷺ DID have a shadow.
There’s NO PROOF or evidence to claim that he ﷺ did not have a shadow or that he was made of ‘Noor’ or any other baseless things such people claim about our beloved Prophet ﷺ.
ALL the so-called “ahaadeeth” that are circulated regarding this matter are FALSE and FABRICATED.
Yes our dear beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the BEST of the best, the leader of all, the beloved to Allaah Himself.
He brought the light of guidance but he himself is NOT light.
Rather, he was a human being.
He was born from two NORMAL parents, he would get hungry like any other human being, he ate food and had to use the bathroom like any other human being.
He would get tired and fall sick and would need rest.
And he would bleed if he got hurt just like any other human being.
He married and he had children because he was human.
He felt emotions like joy and sorrow, and anger and pain because he was human.
One of the clearest signs of him being a human is that he ﷺ DIED like all humans die.
The Sahaabah washed him, and prayed janaazah over him and buried him.
🍃 Abu Bakr radhi Allaahu anhu said:
“Whoever used to worship Muhammad, Muhammad has died, but whoever used to worship Allaah, Allaah is alive and will never die.”
So PHYSICALLY the Prophet ﷺ was human and had all the characteristics of a human being including having a shadow.
Allaah Himself proves that the Prophet ﷺ is a human being.
🍃 Allaah says:
“Say (O Muhammad): I am only a man like you.
It has been revealed to me that your God is One God (i.e. Allaah)” (al-Kahf 18:110)
🍃 And Allaah says:
“And We did not create them (the Messengers, with) bodies that ate not food, nor were they immortals”
(al-Anbiya’ 21:8)
In fact, those who think that the Prophet ﷺ is “not human” are condemned by Allaah.
🍃Allaah says:
“And they say: Why does this Messenger (Muhammad) eat food, and walk about in the markets (as we)…?”
[al-Furqaan 25:8]
But what makes the Prophet ﷺ DIFFERENT and ABOVE all other ordinary human beings is his Prophethood and the Revelation that came to him from Allaah.
Actually believing such false things about the Prophet ﷺ counts as EXAGGERATION regarding him and the Prophet ﷺ himself FORBADE us from doing that.
🍃 He ﷺ said:
“Do not exaggerate about me as was exaggerated about ‘Eesa (Jesus) ibn Maryam. Say: the slave of Allaah and His Messenger.”
(al-Bukhaari 6830)
Believing that the Prophet ﷺ is made of Noor or light is totally baseless and is contradictory to ALL the authentic texts.
In fact we all know that humans are made of clay and the only creation of Allaah that is made of light or noor are the angels.
🍃 The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The angels were created from light, and Iblees was created from smokeless fire, and Adam Alayhis Salaam was created from what has been described to you.” (Muslim 2996)
🍃 Shaykh al-Albaani commented in the above hadeeth and said:
“This indicates that the well known report that is in circulation among people – “The first thing that Allaah created was the light of your Prophet, O Jaabir” – is FALSE, and so are other similar ahaadeeth (narrations) which say that the Prophet ﷺ was created from light. This hadeeth clearly indicates that the angels are the only ones who are created from light, not Adam and his sons, so pay heed and do not be negligent.”
(al-Silsilah al-Saheehah 458)
🍃 Someone asked the Standing Committee for Issuing Fatwas if it’s true that the Prophet ﷺ didn’t have a shadow.
They replied:
“This view is false and goes against the texts of the Qur’aan and the saheeh Sunnah which indicate that the Prophet ﷺ was human and did not differ in his human make-up from other people.
He had a shadow like any other human.
The Prophethood with which Allaah honored him did not alter the fact that he was human as Allaah created him, with a father and mother.
“Their Messengers said to them: We are no more than human beings like you”
(Surah Ibraaheem 14:11)
With regard to the report that the Prophet ﷺ was created from the light of Allaah, this is a fabricated hadeeth.”
(Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah, 1/464)
May Allaah guide us and save us from exaggerating about the Prophet ﷺ, which he himself forbade.
If you truly love him, then you will OBEY him.
And Allaah knows best.
