Yet another Friday

So it’s another Friday.

We will perform ghusl.

We will attend the Jumu’ah prayer.

We will read Surah al-Kahf.

Then, before we know it, it will be another Friday.

Brothers and sisters,

Time is flying.

It seems like yesterday but a whole week has passed since last Friday.

Similar is our life.

Hours turn into days.

Days turn into weeks.

Weeks turn into months.

And months turn into years.

BLINK...

Before we know it, our time is up.

Yes that’s right.

Just like that.

In a flash of a second.

🍃al-Hasan al-Basri said:

“Son of Adam!

You are nothing but a “number of days”

With each passing day a part of you has also gone.”

🍃And he also said:

"The world is but THREE days:

As for ‘YESTERDAY’, it has VANISHED along with all that was in it.

As for ‘TOMORROW’, you may NEVER SEE it.

As for ‘TODAY’, it is YOURS, so ‘WORK’ on it."

📌Ask yourself this:

🔺How did I spend my time from last Friday to today?

🔺Have I improved my relationship with Allaah since last Friday?

🔺Did I do anything to benefit my Ummah?

🔺What have I done for my Aakhirah?

🔺What can I do to make it better?
