The BEST day to give charity

We all know the virtue of giving charity for the sake of Allaah.

It’s one of the most BELOVED deeds to Allaah and its something that’s rewarded 10 to 700 times or even more.

And Ramadhaan is the month of spending in the path of Allaah.

That’s why the Prophet Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam was especially extra generous in this beautiful blessed month.

🍃Ibn ‘Abbaas radhi Allaahu anhumaa said:

“The Messenger of Allaah Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam was the most generous of people, and he was at his most generous in Ramadhaan...The Messenger of Allaah Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam was more generous than the wind.”

[al-Bukhaari (6) and Muslim (2308)]

🍃Imaam al-Nawawi said:

“This hadeeth teaches us several things, such as that it is mustahabb to be more generous in Ramadhaan.”

(Sharh Muslim, 15/69)

🍃And Ibn al-Qayyim said:

“The Prophet Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam was the most generous of people, and he was at his most generous in Ramadhaan, when he would give a great deal of charity, do good deeds, read Qur’aan, remember Allaah (dhikr) and observe i’tikaaf.”

(Zaad al-Ma’aad, 2/32)

And what better day to give sadaqah for the pleasure of Allaah than on Friday?

🍃 Ibn Al-Qayyim said:

“Giving charity of *Friday with regard to the rest of the week is the best day to do so.*

This is similar to the superiority of giving charity during Ramadhaan with regard to the rest of the months.”

🍃And Ka’b radhi Allaahu anhu said:

“Giving Sadaqah on *Friday is better than giving it on any other day of the week”*

Alhamdulillaah TODAY is Friday and THIS is Ramadhaan.

What could be better than combining THREE virtuous deeds together?

-Giving sadaqah

-on Friday

-in Ramadhaan!

Subhaan Allaah!

If there’s ever a day to spend in the path of Allaah, then TODAY is that day!

Yet another chance to earn good deeds and earn the pleasure of Allaah Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala.
