Got a headache? Toothache?

Stomachache?

No worries!

This pain is a means of expiation and purification for your sins.

And a means to raise your status.

🍃 The Prophet ﷺ said:

“No tiredness, exhaustion, worry, grief, distress or harm befalls a believer in this world, not even a thorn that pricks him, but Allaah expiates some of his sins thereby.” (al-Bukhaari 5318, Muslim 2573)

🍃And he ﷺ said:

“The headache of the Believer, or a thorn that pricks him, or anything that harms him, then Allaah raises him a grade on the day of Judgement due to that and He expiates from him his sins due to that.”

(Ibn Abi Duniya; hasan by

al-Albaani in Saheeh Targheeb wa Tarheeb 3434]

Want to know the Sunnah way to heal all pain?

🍃One time the noble Sahaabi Uthmaan ibn Abi’l-‘Aas radhi Allaahu anhu complained to the Messenger ﷺ about a pain in his body that he had suffered from the time he became Muslim.

🍃 The Prophet ﷺ said to him:

“Put your hand on the part of the body that hurts and say:

🔹Bismillaah three times.

🔹And say seven times:

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِن شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحاذِرُ

“A’oodhu billaahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhaadhir”

“I seek refuge in Allaah and His Power from the evil of what I feel and worry about.”

(Saheeh Muslim 2202)

So the next time you have pain anywhere in the body, say this beautiful duaa SEVEN times before reaching out for that pain medicine.

And Allaah will get rid of the pain for you.

This is a tremendously powerful duaa.

Say it sincerely and with FAITH.

Put your Tawakkul on the One Who heals all.

Have full conviction in His Power.

And Allaah will relieve you of that pain.

After all, isn’t He ash-Shaafi?
