The Prophet ﷺ said:

"When it is Friday, the Angels stand at every door of the Masjid and record the people in the order of their arrival.

And when the Imaam sits (on the pulpit for delivering the sermon) they fold up their sheets and listen to the mention (of Allaah).

And he who comes early is like one who offers a she-camel as a sacrifice, the next like one who offers a cow, the next a ram, the next a hen, the next an egg."

(al-Bukhaari 929, Muslim 850)

Subhaan Allaah!

Just imagine!

ANGELS waiting to greet you at the door of the masjid!

And they will write your name in their scrolls depending on when you arrive.

The earlier you arrive, the greater the reward.

So remember this beautiful hadeeth as you’re entering the masjid today.

Imagine those angels standing there...waiting at the door to greet you...

Do try and arrive as early as you can, so you can get more rewards.

Make sure to pray Tahiyyatul Masjid, then busy yourself in the remembrance of Allaah...praying nawaafil, reading Qur'aan, making duaa and istighfaar until the Imaam comes.

Then listen to the Khutbah with all your heart.

What a beautiful way to wait in the remembrance of your Rabb...

And Allaah knows best.
